The work crew is getting younger, but no less effective. Miles and Owen put in their fair share on the association work day, hauling dead wood to the road for pick up and then following the pick up pick up to the burn pile. It was one BIG fire!

Cabin Guidelines

After much discussion, many suggestions, and time to let the dust settle, we have finally come up with a "Cabin Use Guidelines" document with some more specific procedures for checking in and out of the cabin. As more frequent use of the cabin is shifting to the next generation and the number of "responsible parties" has grown from a dozen to several times that number, we felt it necessary to be somewhat more detailed about specific tasks that need to be done each time the cabin is used. Expectations have not really changed, it has just all been written down. This will be posted on the bulletin board in the hall by the kitchen.
Please be sure that you get your name on the calendar before you use the cabin, even if you are going up at the last minute and it appears no one else will be there. It is important to know when the cabin is in use and by whom.
We cannot give thanks often enough to Mom and Dad for having the vision to provide this wonderful haven for our family!

If you plan on making something at the cabin you need to bring all the supplies you need. Do not expect the ingredients to be there. Also, be sure to take ALL food home.

Hurry and get your reservations in. If you know when you are going to be in Utah and would like to use the cabin for a long period of time please tell Betsy when you would like to reserve the cabin so there will be room for you.

New Cabin Blog

Announcing a new way to reserve and know who is currently at our family cabin. Now you can simply email us (or Betsy) to reserve the cabin. Or, like before, you can call Betsy. You can see who is at the cabin and when it is available using the calendar. On the side we will put an online wish list, much like the one already at the cabin, so you know what the cabin needs before your stay. Also, we will update you on things that need fixing or other things to watch out for.
